"I grew up in a small village in the mountains surrounding the Doan Valley in Hadhramout, Yemen — a place where life follows the rhythm of nature and beekeeping has been a tradition for generations. In my village, almost every family kept bees, and Sidr honey, or Baghiya as we call it, was treated as sacred — used only for healing or given as a precious gift to those we deeply respected.
Some of my happiest memories are of visiting my grandfather’s bee farm, tasting fresh golden honey straight from the hive. Even after moving to Canada to study, that connection never faded. I would ask my family to send me Sidr honey during the long, cold winters — a comforting reminder of home, warmth, and wellbeing.
That experience inspired me to start Pure Taste Inc. — to share this treasured honey with others. Every jar comes directly from trusted beekeepers in Hadhramout, made the same way my grandfather did — completely natural, raw, and pure.
